Several of you have asked me how to connect to the server in the imaging room (Rm 321) to download, store and print gel images. Here are the instructions, assuming you are using a Mac.

• While in the Finder, pull down the "Go" menu to "Connect to Server...".
• Enter "smb://169.237.98.41/rothLab" in the "Server Address:" field and click "Connect".
• When asked to login, use "localhost\rothlab" as user name (yes, that is a backslash!), and our standard password. If you don't know it, ask me or any other long-lived lab denizen.
• Your imaging folder will probably be at "rothLab/My Documents/rothlab/". You can open it like any other folder. Contents are yours to manipulate as you please.
